Rose Rocket Truck Driver App
The Rose Rocket Truck Driver App empowers drivers with a suite of tools tailored for the logistics workflow. Drivers can manage their delivery tasks, provide photographic evidence of pickups and drop-offs, and receive optimized routes directly through the app. It's a practical solution for managing detailed information about shipments, designed to streamline the process from start to finish.
Integrating background location tracking into the app offers dispatchers real-time operational insights. This feature is a strategic enhancement to ensure that the location of trucks is always accessible, providing a transparent and efficient flow of information for better fleet management and customer service. It’s about giving carriers the visibility they need, with minimal intrusion and maximum benefit. When drivers are assigned a work order (manifest), they have the option to initiate location tracking once they commence their work. Given that drivers are in transit and unable to interact with their phones, the tracking operates in the background, essential for prolonged trips that may span several days. As soon as the work on the manifest is completed, the app automatically ceases location tracking.
Drivers using the Rose Rocket Truck Driver App can elect to share their location with the Software by toggling permissions within the Truck Driver App. Only the location of active orders will show if location-sharing permissions are allowed. When the location is shared, it is visible in the TMS where the order was last seen.
